Our industry-leading consumer products are consistently recognised with many of Australia’s top awards. The Lumix GX7 was awarded the prestigious CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards Honoree for 2014 in the Digital Imaging category, while our energy-saving ECONAVI range of air conditioners received both the Canstar Blue ‘Most Satisfied Customers’ award and the highly sought-after ‘Product of the Year’ Award. In fact, Panasonic also took out the top spots for Refrigerator Product of the Year 2014 and TV Product of the Year 2014.
Panasonic Business Solutions continue to grow across the board, and enhance productivity in the Australian workplace – from rugged Toughpad tablets to powerful venue projectors and 4K broadcast solutions. In an exciting cross-over from business to high-art, our flagship PT-DZ21K projector even played a starring role in the 19th Biennale of Sydney, helping to create a large-scale video installation by renowned artist, Eva Koch.
Panasonic has been committed to sustainability initiatives around the world since the company was formed and locally that desire for ECO awareness saw the company successfully campaign for the creation of TechCollect, a national e-waste recycling scheme. The launch of this scheme has already resulted in Australians setting a new Guinness World Record for the most e-waste ever collected for recycling in one week, as well as the collection of 16,554 tonnes of e-waste over the 2012/13 period.
