HOW TO ENTER

To be eligible to claim, individuals must purchase any pair of participating Panasonic Air Conditioners (from the list below), in a single transaction from any participating dealer nationally between 15/07/10 and close of business on 15/09/10.

To claim, eligible individuals must then complete the official claim form provided at the time of purchase or available for download at www.panasonicair.com.au including their full name, address, model numbers of products purchased, date of purchase, dealer purchased from, telephone number, email address and nominate which gift they would like to receive (Panasonic HD Camcorder or Panasonic Blu-ray Home Theatre System), attach a copy of their receipt and send together to “Panasonic Ducted Air 2010 Promotion”, PO Box 450, Brookvale NSW 2100. Claims close last mail received on 29/10/10 or when 500 valid claims have been received, whichever is first to occur. There are 250 of the Panasonic HD Camcorder gift and 250 of the Panasonic Blu-ray Home Theatre System gift available for redemption.

Pairs of Participating Panasonic air-conditioners include:

• Ducted 6.3KW Panasonic air-conditioner unit (model number CS-F24DD1E5) and a Ducted 6.3KW Panasonic air-conditioner unit (model number CU-L24DBE5);
• Ducted 7.1 KW Panasonic air-conditioner unit (model number CS- F28DD1E5) and a Ducted 7.1KW Panasonic air-conditioner unit (model number CU- L28DBE5);
• Ducted 10.00KW Panasonic air-conditioner (model number CS- F34DD1E5) and Ducted 10.00KW Panasonic air-conditioner (CU-L34DBE5);

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Instructions on how to claim and the gift form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Offer not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
2. Claims are only open to Australian residents.
3. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating dealers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to claim. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
4. Dealers and Installers of Panasonic Air Conditioning products are ineligible to claim.
5. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and claimants (including a claimant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any claimant who submits a claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the claim process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
6. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible claims will be deemed invalid.
7. Multiple claims permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one claim permitted per specified purchase requirement; and (b) each claim must be submitted separately and in accordance with claim requirements. Gift is strictly limited to the first 500 valid claims received. Limit of 250 of each of the two gifts available.
8. Claimants must retain their original purchase receipt(s) for all claims as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all claims when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of a claimant’s claims and forfeiture of any right to a gift. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the dealer the pair of Panasonic Air Conditioners were purchased from and that the purchase was made during the promotional period but prior to entry.
9. If there is a dispute as to the identity of a claimant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the claimant.
10. Promotion commences on 15/07/10 and ends for purchases close of business on 15/09/10. Claims close last mail received on 29/10/10 or when 500 valid claims have been received, whichever is first to occur. There is a limit of 250 of each of the two bonus gifts to be awarded.
11. Claimants will be notified by phone and mail.
12. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. The first 500 valid claims received will each be awarded their choice of:
    
    One (1) of 250 x Panasonic HD Camcorder (model HDC-SD60-K) plus a Panasonic 16 GB SD card (model number RP-SD16G) valued at $988.95 or
    
    One (1) of 250 x Panasonic Blu-ray Home Theatre System (model SC-BT-337) valued at $899.00.
    
    If a claimant is within the first 500 valid claimants, but 250 of the gift they nominated on their claim form (Panasonic HD Camcorder or Panasonic Blu-ray Home Theatre System) has been exhausted, then the other available gift will be offered to that claimant. The claimant will be offered the alternative gift prior to the remainder of the claims being processed. If the claimant does not want the alternative gift, then they forfeit all rights to the gift.
14. Total prize pool value is $471,987.50.
15. If for any reason a claimant does not take the gift by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the gift will be forfeited.
16. If the gift is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the gift with a gift to the equal specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
17. Gift is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
18. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any claimant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
19. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim or gift that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in gift value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; or (f) use of the gift.
20. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, gift suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Claim is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the claimant. Claimants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All claims become the property of the Promoter.
